How fast can an RC helicopter fly? Depending on the model you choose, you can expect speeds up to 50 miles per hour or more. Some RC pilots in this hobby have claimed to achieve speeds as fast as 100 miles per hour with modifications. The mini or micro helicopters will be slower but maneuver very well indoors and tight spaces. How far can my helicopter go? The radio will control your helicopter up to one mile away on most models. The most important thing is that you are able see it. The distance of flight is more related to your ability to follow and see the helicopter than it is related to the radio controls itself. What things can I do with my RC helicopter? RC helicopters are versatile in their flying. They can accomplish pretty much anything you can imagine for them. With your RC helicopter you can fly upside down and make it do loops and tricks in the air. You can hover inches off the ground or water and even go fishing with it if you want to. Make sure to use your common sense and test what you do safely and carefully. The more you fly your remote control helicopter, the more you will learn and be able to do more stunts with it. Where can I fly my helicopter? The answer to this question is often left to your common sense and creativity. There are many places you can fly your helicopter. You may even find a local club with a location to fly. Just remember to take care for your own safety, that of others and your heli as well. The last thing you want is an expensive crash with power lines, a building or house or even hurting another individual. Use care in choosing where you fly. Our mini or micro RC helicopters are great for flying indoors or in smaller spaces. Are remote control helicopters dangerous? The blades of a helicopter are often spinning over 2000 RPMs and can pose a danger if not carefully handled. It is important that any pilot use care in choosing a safe location for flying. Be sure to fly away from children and spectators. It is also important to maintain your RC helicopter to be sure it is in top condition to avoid possible failures that can cause problems or accidents. How hard is it to fly an RC Helicopter? It is true that when compared to many RC vehicles, a helicopter is not the easiest to fly. But don’t let that discourage you from the challenge! If you take the time to learn and take it one step at a time, you will be in forward motion and flying loops in no time. From there the sky is literally the limit! Take the time to learn the basics and you will enjoy the hobby for many years to come. Do you accept orders and payments by phone? Yes.
